#WOW: We Just Won Best In Category At The CUNA Diamond Awards
In partnership with Liberty Savings Federal Credit Union, Prager Creative just won the Best In Category Brand Awareness Diamond Award for credit unions with assets under $100 million. The Diamond Awards are the most prominent recognition of stellar marketing, advertising and branding work in the credit union industry. The competition is conducted annually by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). It was especially challenging this year. Out of 1,295 submissions, only 93 received the Best In Category distinction. This is the fourth Diamond Award Prager Creative has received for work as Liberty Savings Federal Credit Union’s Agency of Record.
Prager Creative’s goal for the brand awareness campaign was to build a fresh message for current members and become more recognized in the community and as an organization that delivers financial services on a dynamic, individual level. Known as the #WOW Campaign, it conveys a message of optimism and empowerment – a direct reflection of the values emphasized at Liberty Savings. Headquartered in Jersey City, America’s most culturally diverse city for the third year running, Liberty Savings is chartered to serve everyone who lives, works or worships in Hudson County. Here, brand awareness initiatives and messaging must speak to many truths and experiences all at once given the varied financial statuses of the community. While some are financially advanced, others do not even know that they are eligible to have an account at a bank or credit union. With this focus, Liberty Savings strives to embody everything that is Hudson County.

Print: Appeared in local lifestyle magazines including The Digest, Jersey City Magazine, and 07306 Hoboken. In total, the three popular magazines are distributed to over 114,000 residents and businesses throughout Hudson County, NJ
Billboard 1: Placed in Jersey City’s bustling Journal Square, where over 56,000 daily commuters, college students, and local business professionals use the PATH train. The billboard hung directly in front of the PATH main entrance delivering an estimated 522,108 unique impressions over a 12-week flight.
Billboard 2: Placed on the southern side of Journal Square, it delivered an estimated 412,712 impressions over an 8-week flight.
Public Transit: The campaign ran as large format, interior posters on the NJ Light Rail Transit System for 18 weeks as well as across NJ bus interior posters for a four week flight, each garnering over 100,000 unique impressions.

One critical campaign tactic was a survey conducted for members and non-members about their service experience as well as how they found the credit union, reason for visiting or calling and if they were able to complete their reason for engagement.
